Gourmet grilled cheese trend makes its way to Mimico
It seems as though Toronto can't get enough of grilled cheese sammies these days, and why not? Bread? Good. Cheese? Even better. Bread and cheese together, fried in butter until golden? The best. Restaurants devoted to this sandwich have been popping up all over the city, but the love extends beyond the downtown core. I hopped on the 501 streetcar to follow the grilled cheese phenomenon as it moves west.
