Contest: Win two passes to 360 Screenings
With big budget cinemas constantly seeking new heights of immersive entertainment--the nauseating 3D phenomenon, for one, or the underwhelming Cineplex AVX experience--the approach taken by the fine folks at 360 Screenings is refreshing. The location is only revealed 24 hours prior to the film, and the film is unveiled at the beginning of the event. And truly, 'event' is a more appropriate term for the series, which encourages you to interact with the location (furnished and decorated accordingly) and the actors scattered throughout--relax, it's all part of the experience. In short, 360 Screenings are part film, part theatre, and while perhaps not suitable for those averse to surprises, they definitely mark a fresh approach to movies.
For all of the reasons outlined above, we can't tell you what movie you'll be seeing, or where it will be screened, but you're pretty much guaranteed a unique experience. Mystery aside, 360 Screenings is kindly offering you passes to their August 15th screening. Read on for how to win.
THE PRIZE
3 lucky film fans will receive two passes each to the August 15th instalment of 360 Screenings, of an as-of-yet unknown film, and held at an undisclosed Toronto heritage location to be revealed 24 hours before the movie.
HOW TO WIN
To win, just answer the following question: The first film in 360 Screenings' cinema series, Ghost, featured an actress who won the 1991 Oscar for Best Actress in a Supporting Role - who was this?
The first 3 correct commenters win the passes. Please make sure to include a valid email address in the comment form "Email Address" field so that we can contact you if you're a winner.
