New Ossington restaurant reinvents Canadian cuisine
Mining historic recipes for reference, this new restaurant is serving up novel dishes that challenge prevailing perceptions that Canadian cuisine is all about peameal and poutine. Expect to find foods familiar to our forefathers including pigeon pie, braised whelk and pemmican - all updated, of course, to attract adventurous eaters on Ossington.
