A little bit about Project: HUMANITY care of their press release.
" We are Project: Humanity, a group of artistic philanthropists who aim to raise spirits and awareness through artistic endeavors. Project: Humanity began as students traveling to local youth detention centers in Toronto to put on Christmas plays. In the summer of 2004 we traveled to Jamaica to do relief work with children and elderly living with disabilities. Our goal is to create a volunteer placement program, wherein volunteers will be introduced to experiences they might not get otherwise, and together we will produce some form of art based on their newly acquired life lessons"
First performance starts at 7pm
$10 at the door with all proceeds going to Red Cross.
