Photographs Seek Subjects
New Year, new goals, new idea... blah blah blah. It's all just an conscious excuse to finally get CRACKING on the things you've meant to be working on, right? In that spirit, I'm working on a couple photo projects and am looking for subjects.
If you are willing to be photographed (or willing to help out), read on. Both projects are for possibe inclusion in a few different exhibitions, in particular an upcoming Int. AIDS/HIV Conference that'll be happening in Toronto this summer.
Project 1:
Looking for chests. Yeah yeah, keep reading. Your entire face will not be included - nor your legs. The shot will be from lips to waist.
Subjects need to be wearing a plain top:
Girls - tshirt, shirt, thin sweather, tank, tube, bra, etc.*
Guys - tshirt, shirt, thin sweather, tank, nothing, etc.*
*Nothing with patterns or logos.
The final piece will be a backlit composite of all these photos.
Project 2:
Looking for:
1 - Woman between the ages of approx 24-60. Will be wearing minister/priests robe. Photograph is likely to, but may or may not, include face.
2 - Young woman between the ages of approx 18-30. Will be wearing beauty pageant costume (dress, tiara, sash). Would be ideal if had her own dress. Makeup + hair will be provided.
3 - Man between the ages of approx 18-40. Any ethnic backround. Should be in good physical shape. Will be photographed bare torso, holding an infant. Most likely, only the lower part of his face or slight profile will be visible.
4 - Straight couple, any age (18+). Ideally this photo will be taken from above. Subjects will be semi nude, in bed. Couple will be facing each other or 'spooning'. Sheets will cover them waist down.
5 - Man between the ages of approx 20-30. Portrait of subject in suit (dark suit, light shirt) wearing a tie. Face may or may not be included in final crop.
If you are willing to take part, please contact me.
All photos will be B&W. There is no compensation as this in a non-profit project to promote awareness. Shoots for the 2nd project will be done in front of a backdrop at a location TBD.
