MySpace in Print

It's not exactly MySpace, but the exhibit currently adorning the walls of M-One-11 definitely reminds me of the popular social networking site.

All around the store artist Tim McCready has posted short profiles of people he met between 2002 and 2005 in southern Ontario, Detroit and cruise ships in the Caribbean and Alaska. It's the same sort of collection you'd find online, but the artist was apparently intrigued by the permanence of his collection; that unlike MySpace, once a respondent is finished they couldn't go back and change or edit their answers or picture.

Permanent Record runs until April 15th.
