Friday Flickr Forum

As usual, when I browsed submissions in the blogTO Flickr pool today, I came across several wonderful photographs. While so many of them are visually pleasing, some tend to have straight-forward interpretations and others seem to tell more elaborate stories. Some arouse curiosity to a great extent and make the viewer want to learn more. An idea was born...

The blogTO Friday Flickr Forum will be a weekly sampling and dialogue about photographs taken and art made by our readers (photos of your paintings, sculptures, and other works are welcome as well).

Each Friday starting on December 8th (tomorrow), we'll post a selection of images that have recently been submitted to the blogTO Flickr pool. We'll invite our readers and the photographers/artists to participate in discussions about their work using the comments on blogTO.

This isn't meant to be artsy fartsy nor is it meant to be technical (although it may at times go there). It's really meant to be all about interaction and sharing images and stories. If you submit anything that looks even remotely interesting it may end up here.

You could be the next to be featured in the forum!

Where/when was it taken/made?
What's the story behind the work?
What inspired the photographer/artist to create it?
Does the creation represent the overall style of the photographer/artist?

Here's a chance to have your work seen and discussed by many Torontonians.

Please continue reading for instructions on how to contribute...
