We're back with our first 2007 From the Flickr Pool!

I can see that everyone's New Years resolution was to add more photos to the BlogTO flickr pool, as the quantity (and quality) of additions to the pool was astounding over the holiday!

So let's get to it! You know the rules. We pick some interesting photos. The photographers tell us the story behind them, where they were taken, and anything else they care to share. Of course, you the reader can then ask the photographers anything else you like.

First up we have a fun NYE photo by rebootyourcomputer. Anyone else glad all that hoopla is over?

Top-middle (#2) and middle (#5) are both remarkable works by Metrix X, one of my favourite Toronto photographs I've found through Flickr. I was even tempted to add a third of his.

Lone Primate added a few great HDRs recently. .natalie and our very own Tanja both posted stunning square street photos. And room929 used a tilt-shift to capture our favourite sport in a new light. I'd love to hear about everyone's technique.
