Normally occupied by serious people in business suits, the Toronto Board of Trade is decorating its walls with the fun-loving photographs of Childish, an exhibit by Right To Play.

Unlike most of us in Canada, many children around the world are plagued by war and/or disease, making innocent fun a distant dream. Right to Play's goal is to help these disadvantaged children reclaim their childhood. The humanitarian organization's mandate is to develop communities through safe and sustainable sports programs for kids. The product of these programs will be displayed in Childish which opens Monday evening.

Captured by talented photographers like Mark Zibert, Cyndy Warwick and Sandy Pereira , the images show a bright contrast to the dreary images of disadvantaged kids we're used to seeing in media. Instead, it offers a hopeful look at children united through play.

The opening reception for Childish takes place on Monday evening from 6 to 8 pm and is open to the public. The exhibit goes on until April 27th in the Board of Trade gallery. The Board of Trade is located at First Canadian Place, 100 King St. West. Enter through the Adelaide St. entrance.
