I took these photographs a year ago, in January. This was one of my first attempts at learning to shoot digital. I had this strange feeling back then (and still have it now)... as if a whole new world suddenly opened its doors for me. I started to see things I've never noticed before - paying attention to details, lighting, and shadows. The word "light" took on a completely new meaning to me.

I've learned more about photography since then, but I still like to look back on this set because in the end it's all about looking for the light everywhere, following it, and knowing it's always there.
