It had to happen, I suppose. Charlie Sheen is bringing his surfer-soothsayer shtick to Toronto. If he lives that long, the (defective?) Machine will entertain the crowd at Massey Hall on April 14th with some choice Sheenglish as part of his roving "My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat is Not An Option Show." The whole thing is likely to be a farce — but who knows if that's even a bad thing. If celebrity meltdowns are your cup of tea, it doesn't get much better than this.

Of course, in a month's time all of this might have become even more played out than it already is, but that's a risk I'm sure many are willing to take. And besides it's all for charity, right? Good Ol' Charlie is donating a whole dollar of each ticket sold to the Japanese Earthquake Relief Fund. And with a price range of $79.50 to $109.50, I'd say that's the profoundly generous act of a true winner.

Anyway, earlier today we asked our Twitter followers if they planned on taking in the dramatics, and the response was pretty cold. So, what better occasion to have some fun with hashtags at Charlie's expense. He won't mind, I promise. Tickets for the asylum dinner go on sale tomorrow.
