Door Three

Door Three is one of Toronto's longest standing nightclubs in the King West neighbourhood.

This upscale lounge has been around for over eight years, a long lifespan on a street that's notorious for its ever changing nightlife landscape.

door three torontoMost recently, the club has undergone some major renovations to give it new life for the regulars that have been partying here over the years.

door three torontoCo-owner Stefan Calabrese tells blogTO that Door Three has an entirely new vibe, everything from the booths to the layout of the space has been upgraded, along with a few trendy neon signs added.

door three torontoCalabrese took ownership back in 2018, along with his brother Conrad, and two other former club promoters named Ron and John.

Before stopping by, make sure to check out their style code. Calabrese says they don't do suits and ties, but lean more towards dressy casual. You'll want to look like you dressed as if you planned for a night out.

door three torontoI'd describe Door Three as the best of both worlds, when it comes to the ratio between people dancing and lounging. As the night gets later, and the drinks flow faster, you'll see more people letting loose on a makeshift dance floor near the bar.

door three torontoIf you've got a birthday or a group event happening, consider splitting a booth between you and your people. In order to reserve, there's a varying minimum spend that starts at $500.00 on Thursdays and Sundays, and goes up to $1,000.00 on Fridays and Saturdays.

door three torontoDepending on how much you want to drink and how many people you're with, you can reach the minimum spend by grabbing two bottles of Casamigos Blanco Tequila priced at $330.00 each.

The cheapest bottle on their menu would be a bottle of Moet et Chandon Brut for $220, the most expensive is a premium champagne, Ace of Spades Magnum set at a whopping total of $1,600.00. It's totally understandable if you don't have that kind of pocket change lying around.

door three torontoDoor Three also has a full-service bar, there aren't any cocktails, but you can order $8.00 beers and basic rail alcohols like vodka or tequila, for the same price.

door three torontoIf you're showing up to Door Three on a weekend, prepare for a line. Cover costs $20.00, but ladies get in free before 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and before midnight on Thursdays and Sundays.
