In celebration of Pride Week and to kick off a raucous weekend, SOY or Supporting Our Youth is having a fundraising party at the Court House this Friday, June 24th starting at 10pm going on till 4am ... and guess what ... the bar is licensed to be serving drinks till 4am. 4 AM!

But, the event isn't about the 4am drinks ... it's about enriching the lives of our queer and transgendered youth. Launched in 1998 after a study by the Toronto Coalition for Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual Youth found that there was a great divide between the adults and the youth of their community, SOY set out to bridge that gap.

With the help of dedicated volunteers, it now works to create healthy activities through art, culture and sport as well as offers numerous social services such as housing and employment.
