Black Market Goes Ritzy

Rarely do I travel along Queen West on a weekend, because usually it's packed.

But yesterday, I stopped in both locations of BLACK MARKET and was devastated to find out they renovated their stores big time, and I suspect that's why they've jacked up the price on all their clothes. Seriously, three "vintage" shirts for nearly $40?

Across the street, they've too hiked prices, but have rented out at least five spaces to small clothing and knick-knack shops. I guess it makes sense to pay for inflated Queen Street rents, but geez. I remember when those places were all about the filth. That was their charm!
