Billboards are everywhere, and many of them are illegal. "Ad creep" activists launched the web site Illegalsigns.ca have gotten the attention of the media, and city inspectors have begun issuing notices to agencies responsible for the ads. I hope the enforcement continues after the media blitz settles.

Should drivers with permits for disabilities pay for parking? Howard Moscoe wants to scrap the existing, troubled program and make some sweeping changes to prevent "inconsiderate slobs" from abusing the system.

Iris scanning technology will soon be implemented at Pearson International Airport and available for frequent travelers to use in lieu of a presenting a passport to customs officials in an effort to speed up customs crossing.

A think-tank study revealed today that in order to keep up with the world and improve efficiencies, Canada Post should be privatized.

That winter storm we've been hearing about is on its way and is expected to hit us hard. Be careful out there on the roads, and make a snowman when you get home.
