Beer! Wine! Everywhere! A private members' bill is being put forth and proposes that booze be made available at convenience stores. With the monopoly that is the LCBO, this bill has no chance.

Bees! Dying! Everywhere! Honeybees in Southwestern Ontario (and perhaps in other Canadian provinces as well) are dying off at a rapid rate prompting fears that we'll face major shortages in the coming honey and fruit pollination seasons.

Maria Pantalone, sister of deputy mayor Joe Pantalone, pleading guilty to assault, but the details of the alleged assault are still fuzzy. All we know so far is that school principal really gave the kid shit (by throwing it at him).

A Toronto police officer (one of several in a larger corruption probe) is facing a string of charges including assault and drug possession was denied bail. So far the clean up looks good.

Four guys in a van were pulled over by police on Sunday and a significant stockpile of weapons found. Combined, they face 228 charges.
