Toronto mystery novelist, Maureen Jennings, was saved from strong water currents while vacationing in Florida. Her rescuer, however, didn't make it back with her.

Pshaw, they'll give anyone an honorary Canadian citizenship these days...

After being caught with over 30 223 gigabytes (!!!) of child pornography, non-mayor David Miller plead guilty to the possession and distribution of images and videos of children involved in sex acts. I hear that soap is awfully slippery in the big house.

A man suspected of stabbing three people at random yesterday has been brought into custody. No one was seriously injured, or at least relative to how serious one can be stabbed. He's due in court soon.

For all the hubbub we've had to endure regarding the new taxes, Toronto is still piss poor.
