How much would you be able/willing to pay to get your pet dog back? A Toronto man posted a $15,000 reward for the safe return of Huckleberry, his 3.5 year old lab, who was believed to have been dog-napped. He got a few calls, and got the dog back but wouldn't say whether or not he handed over the cash.

Angelica-Leslie, the baby that was found abandoned at a parking garage a few weeks ago, still has no family. Children's Aid is saying that it could take up to 18 months to work out an adoption arrangement for her.

Via Rail users who were planning to take the train (to visit grandma in Niagara Falls) need to make other arrangements. A freight train derailment near Burlington has the tracks shut down and Via using buses instead. GO Transit is also running buses between Burlington and Aldershot stations.
