Photo radar may be returning - in Mississauga anyhow. The proposal: automated roadside units would display your vehicle's speed and give you an opportunity to slow down. If you don't adhere to the warning quickly enough, you're then photographed and ticketed through the mail. With red light cameras, toll roads (the 407), and no fault insurance we already have enough reasons to not lend our vehicles to friends.

What number does X-Copper dial when they need to file for bankruptcy protection? 1-800-X-BANKER? CBC reports that the paralegal firm has filed for bankruptcy but still has thousands of active cases, involving deposits already paid. Draw your own conclusions.

Toronto is mourning the premature death of former Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sheela Basrur, who led us through the SARS scare - one of the most troubling of medical emergencies affecting our city in quite some time.

Who would have thought that the hot dog would be standing high on the podium, and that knocking the hot dog off the podium would be so difficult? The street food debate goes before city council again today. If it were me leading the fight for change, I'd feed city council hot dogs for a week straight and on the next day take them down any street in Bangkok and watch their eyes light up and bellies growl but not let them succumb to temptation. Then I'd bring them home for a hot dog party and laugh at them when I see the repulsed looks on their faces.

The Toronto Maple Leafs appear to have found their next head coach. Former San Jose Sharks coach Ron Wilson is in town to meet with the team's interim GM Cliff Fletcher.
