Police take over Toronto streets for G20

The police and security presence in Toronto for the G20 has been nothing short of profound. On the heels of the first major protest -- today's OCAP march through downtown streets -- numerous reports had the the protester to police ratio at about two to one. When the numbers for the protest are being estimated in the thousands, needless to say, that's a lot of cops.

We'll have a full report on today's events with lots of photos and video, but in the meantime, here's a glimpse of what Toronto looks like occupied by security forces. The video at bottom captures a snippet of the tension and confusion at today's protest.

If you have G20-related photos, please send them to the blogTO Flickr pool.
