Twitter reaction to Rob Ford's first day as mayor

Thanks for the memories @mayormiller -- and welcome to your new position @TOMayorFord. Though the real fireworks won't likely begin until the first meeting of the new city council on December 7, the Rob Ford era began at midnight this morning shortly after former mayor David Miller said a few goodbyes at the Rivoli.

Already there's much talk surrounding the possibility that team Ford will ditch Transit City, and today comes news that the new mayor may have his sights on making the TTC an essential service. Whether you're a Ford fan or not, it's obvious that the next few weeks are going to be very interesting at City Hall. So let's see how mayor Ford is being greeted on Twitter and even offer him a little bit of advice as he takes office.
