Tory Flyer sexual education

Tim Hudak defends controversial anti-Liberal flyer

As if those transphobic ads from the Institute for Canadian Values aren't bad enough, the Tory candidate for MPP in Brampton West has been distributing anti-Liberal flyers that take issue with sexual education curriculum in Ontario — you know, those policies that aim to fight homophobia and foster equality among students at a young age.

When asked about the flyer in question, Ontario PC leader Tim Hudak chose to take a stab at the Premier. "I think [the flyers] reflect Dalton McGuinty's out of the mainstream policy ideas to have a sex education curriculum that would begin with Grade Ones when they should be learning their ABCs or math skills or tying their shoes," hold told reporters earlier today.

Newsflash Tim: those things aren't mutually exclusive. And, more importantly, teaching kids to accept and appreciate difference — both sexual and otherwise — is a noble social pursuit for which there's no age limit.
