The interior has been extravagantly renovated. It's a tale of two houses with a modern kitchen and bathrooms, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a vaulted ceiling on the second floor. It's a modern house inside a Brothers Grimm fairytale cottage. You might not want to replicate the pseudo-Versailles look in the living room, but that's just other people's junk anyway.

Stop for a coffee at Jet Fuel after a bike ride, or take the dog to the weekly farmers market in Riverdale Park, and you can embrace this community within the city.

MOVE ON IF

Alhough the house could be toned down with different furniture and decorations (maybe leopard print carpet isn't your thing, for example), it's never going to have a rustic cottagey feel. Oh, and the feigned elegance of the decor is reflected in the price tag. Even for the coveted Cabbagetown, a near $2 Million dollar price tag is pretty steep. Start counting your pennies!
