Toronto hit a record high temperature today

If you feel like heading to a patio today in Toronto you're not alone. That's because at 15.5 C (at 2 p.m.), it's the hottest February day on record.

We set the previous February 3 record in 1991 when the thermometer hit 9.3 C. And, until now, February 23, 1984 was the warmest February day ever at 14.9 C.

Whether you're fearful of these unseasonably warm temperatures or not, enjoy this balmy Wednesday while you can. Environment Canada predicts it'll be feeling more like February as early as tomorrow.
