Toronto BrazilFest

There's a huge Brazilian festival in Toronto this month

If you can't make it down to Rio de Janeiro for the summer 2016 Olympics, you can always celebrate Brazil right here in Toronto thanks to the 13th annual Toronto International BrazilFest happening in Earlscourt Park on Sunday, July 24.

The all-day event runs from noon until 10 p.m. and brings together a slew of performers from both Canada and Brazil, including musicians, bands, samba dancers and DJs as well as martial artists who'll do a Capoeira demonstration.

If you need a break from dancing, you can cool down Caipirinha at the bar and fill up at the churrascaria. Along with this Brazilian-style barbecue, there will be plenty of other food vendors, including Churros Ricos Churros, Deli Campo Empanada, Miss Amigos Catering and the Toronto Tapioca Gourmet Team.

Best of all, the event is free to attend - though you will have to shell out some cash if you want to eat.
