The end has finally come for Atlantis at Ontario Place
The Atlantis Pavilion at Ontario Place is entering its final month. The long-standing lakeside event venue will close on Oct. 31, 2016.
"We have ended our lease early with Ontario Place because they are starting their revitalization project," General Manager Shelly Primeau tells us via email.
Atlantis, one of the iconic structures at Ontario Place, has played host to numerous special events, weddings and dance parties over the years. It remained open even after the rest of the amusement park closed back in 2012.
Dynamic Hospitality & Entertainment Group, which runs Atlantis, will debut another waterfront venue in April 2017 when the Guild Inn Estate finally reopens in Scarborough.
