Ontario anticipated to get 40 cm of rain and snow for the weekend
Prepared to get wet - It's going to be another weekend of extreme weather for Toronto and the rest of the province.
As the rains have already kicked off on Friday, March 31, the Weather Network says upto 40 centimetres of rain and snowfall may fall through Saturday.
Northern Ontario will see the worst of the storm, with a prediction of 20-40 centimetres from the eastern shores of Lake Superior to the Quebec border.

Snowfall accumulation with intensity throughout Friday afternoon and evening, with Cottage Country likely to see 5-15 centimetres of snow.
And it's not just perception; strong and heavy winds will also be present, especially gusty in the Northern area as well.
For southern Ontario, rain is the game's name, with large amounts of water falling from Friday night to Saturday. Toronto is expected to see 20-30 mm of rainfall throughout Saturday.

Freezing rain is a possibility in the Greater Toronto Hamilton Area (GTHA) with southwestern winds of 50-70 km/hour battering Southern Ontario; there is a chance of tree damage and power outages.
Don't forget thunderstorms, where there is a risk for development throughout southwestern Ontario from Friday into Saturday for the GTA.
Saturday morning will see a reprieve from the system until flurries start falling in the evening for the GTA.
