Malfunctioning truck turns Toronto intersection into a blind mess of smoke

An intersection in Etobicoke looked just like a movie set this week after a malfunctioning truck produced enough smoke to reduce visibility for other drivers.

The incident occurred near Belfield Road in Etobicoke as dozens of drivers were driving through the area during their busy commute.

A video posted online shows the intersection engulfed in a cloud of smoke as a truck drives through the street, blocking visibility for all the vehicles behind it.

Most commenters attributed the issue to a "blown turbo" and questioned why the truck driver didn't decide to pull over and park the vehicle.

Despite the alarming scene, it doesn't appear as though anyone was actually injured in the incident.

Addressing a blown turbo is critical to avoid more damage being done to a car's engine. Although your vehicle will still move, it's definitely a better option to park your vehicle altogether or make your way to a mechanic for a replacement or repair.
