Group swarm and repeatedly punch driver in disturbing Mississauga road rage incident

A jaw-dropping road rage video circulating on social media shows a group of men ditching their vehicles to repeatedly punch the driver of a pickup truck at a Mississauga intersection.

The roughly 90-second clip picks up in the middle of the incident, which occurred at the intersection of Catalpa Road and Morning Star Drive in Malton.

The video shows three cars stopped at the intersection for an unknown reason, and proceeds to capture two men repeatedly punching the driver of a pickup truck.

The group of men are seen exchanging heated words and pacing between their vehicles as a nearby resident films the incident.

blogTO reached out to Peel Regional Police to confirm if they received any reports regarding this particular road rage, but officers did not have any further information to provide.

Unfortunately, this isn't the only tense road rage video to make rounds on social media over the past few weeks.

In a separate incident in June near Kennedy and Danforth Roads in Scarborough, a man was filmed ditching his vehicle to swing their knife at a victim repeatedly.

Toronto Police confirmed that Rishabh Barua, 21, of Ajax, was arrested and charged with dangerous operation of a conveyance, possession of a weapon for a purpose dangerous to the public, assault with a weapon, and two counts of breach of recognizance.
