What's open on the August Civic Holiday in Toronto is essential information for planning to make the most of your long weekend.

The holiday takes place this year on Monday, Aug 5, and, while most major retailers and malls, grocery stores, LCBO and Beer Stores and other attractions will remain open, there are a few exceptions to take note of.
