Delta plane flips over in crash at Pearson airport in Toronto

Emergency crews are responding to a plane crash at Toronto Pearson Airport.

The airport posted about the incident on social media this afternoon.

"Toronto Pearson is aware of an incident upon landing involving a Delta Airlines plane arriving from Minneapolis. Emergency teams are responding. All passengers and crew are accounted for," it said.

Posts on social media are showing images of the plane appearing to be flipped over.

Toronto Pearson’s website currently lists a number of delays and cancellations for arriving and departing flights.

"Provincial officials are in contact with the airport and local authorities and will provide any help that’s needed," he added.
