What's open and closed on Family Day 2025 in Toronto

When Family Day rolls around every year — in Ontario, on the third Monday of February — figuring out what is open is an essential next step in order to plan your long weekend accordingly.

A provincially-recognized statutory holiday, you can expect plenty of government services to take the day off, alongside most grocery stores and some shopping malls, there'll still be plenty to do this Monday, Feb. 17 — including attending the Canadian International AutoShow or Winter Stations.
