Two King Palaces, One City

King Palace has only called Richmond and Sherbourne home for four years, but it seems like it's been there forever. So, when news broke a while back that The Modern Condos was kicking them off the lot, I knew I had to stop by one more time before the tandoori chicken turned to dust.

The good news was not only that my dinner (Combo #62 I believe - three veggies, side salad and a drink for $7.49) was as tasty and sloppy as ever, but that I learned a new King Palace is scheduled to open next week at 820 Church Street, just north of Bloor.

Not only that, but Corktown residents, taxi drivers and aloo-gobi seekers can still enjoy King Palace for a little bit longer. The current location won't succumb to the wrecking ball until the end of the year.
