Food Eats Nuit Blanche 2011

Late night eats Nuit Blanche 2011

Late night eats are a crucial component of Nuit Blanche. How is one expected to walk around the city all night without re-fueling at some point? In addition to the trusty hot dog vendor, there will be a variety of official Nuit Blanche "rest stations" with food and picnic tables, and a host of restaurants offering eats well past their usual bedtimes. If food inspires you more than installation art, there's also the third installment of the Food Trucks Eats festival taking place between 8 p.m. and 5 p.m. at the Distillery District, which is home to a few exhibits as well.

REST STATIONS

  • Mis Amigos Festival Caterers will serve up Latin-style chicken legs and other dishes at Yonge and Grenville
  • The station at Yonge Street and Dundonald Street (one block north of Wellesley) will feature freshly baked pies from Baker Street Bakery.
  • Along with the food trucks that normally reside at City Hall, Zane Caplansky will have his rig parked just further north at Bay and Albert. Bring on the brisket.

RESTAURANTS

  • Also sure to packed is Poutini's, which is open until 5 a.m.
  • Delux will be serving Cuban sandwiches until 2 a.m. for those who get their hunger pangs "early"

Know of a restaurant that's serving late for Nuit Blanche 2011, let us know in the comments.
