The Trinity Bellwoods Farmers' Market
The Trinity Bellwoods Farmers' Market features approximately 20 vendors dotting the northwest corner of the park at Dundas and Shaw. A variety of farmers and artisans offer farm-fresh produce, cheese, meat and fish, as well as prepared food and baked goods. The seasonal market runs from mid-May to the end of October and is held every Tuesday, rain or shine, from 3pm to 7pm.
With a mandate to support and promote local, sustainable agriculture, market organizers host likeminded community groups throughout the season. Look for SolarShare, a non-profit co-op that allows Ontarians to invest in community-based solar energy installations across the province, and Environmental Defence in upcoming weeks.
