Big Crow Toronto

Swan replaced by Rose & Sons and second Big Crow

Big changes are afoot at Anthony Rose's downtown diner. He's slowly converting Swan into another Rose & Sons. Meanwhile, his barbecue joint Big Crow (but smaller) will take over the West Queen West restaurant's compact back patio in about one month's time.

For now, you'll find the new Rose & Sons serving up a menu that's 75 per cent similar to the original Dupont outpost. Chef Mike Tan, however, mixes in a few Cambodian influences through features and blue-plate specials. He'll also introduce a weekly night devoted Cambodian-style feasts.

In the back, the patio will offer 15 or so seats and a menu featuring barbecue pork and brisket in sandwiches, on salads and in combos with sides. This Big Crow will serve everything (minus the booze) in take-away containers so you can enjoy your food in Trinity Bellwoods Park.
