Cider now available at Toronto grocery stores

Good news, cider fans. Starting today, beer won't be the only booze sold at grocery stores in Toronto and the rest of the province. There are now 60 grocery stores around Ontario permitted to sell cider, with another 70 in the works as the government rolls out its new booze licensing plan.

There are 19 craft cideries in Ontario, and the beverage is rapidly increasing in popularity. With the increase in availability and attention that a wide supermarket roll out will bring, you can expect consumption to keep going up.

Wine still isn't on supermarket shelves, but the Liberals promise that it will be available by the fall.
