Toronto is getting a huge taco festival

Taco Fest is back this year and the sweet smell of tacos and fresh tortillas will be wafting across Lake Ontario as the festival moves to its new location on The Grounds at Hotel X.

The three-day party kicks off on Friday, June 16 and runs through to Sunday, June 18, 2023.  Organizers are promising 150 kinds of tacos by Toronto's favourite local chefs, plus fresh churros and, of course, a licensed bar serving tequila, mezcal and margaritas. Yes, the event is 19+.

Although the full roster of vendors hasn't been released, we do know that Tacos Moras, Pastor Taco and Rosalinda are on board just to name a few.

If you get tired of stuffing your face, you can also take salsa dancing lessons, dance to live DJ sets and mariachi bands, and attend guacamole school, all while making room to eat more tacos.

Tickets go on sale April 21 and start at $16.50.
