Toronto is getting a massive Indian food festival this summer

Toronto's annual Taste of India festival is returning for its sixth year in a row, and you can expect more delectable treats and awe-inspiring performances than ever before.

Last year, the Taste of India festival saw over 150,000 people attend in two days, and it expects to exceed even more records this time around.

Over the course of the two-day event, 120 restaurants are set to showcase over 600 dishes and more than 750 artists will be taking the stage for a weekend full of jam-packed entertainment.

A variety of vendors will also be stationed to sell hand-crafted jewelry, clothing, and provide intricate henna designs.

Toronto's 6th annual Taste of India Festival will take place on Aug. 4 from 3 p.m. to 12 a.m. and Aug. 5 from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Nathan Phillips Square.
