Huge bar and restaurant with bowling alley and arcade opening in Toronto next week

One of Toronto's most ambitious developments is about to get even better as a Calgary-based hospitality group gears up to open a huge new entertainment venue there.

It seems like, no matter what you're looking for in Toronto, The Well's got it.

Food hall stuffed with all of the city's buzziest eateries? They've got it. A luxury fitness club with a pool and spa? You bet. Inaugural Canadian locations for lauded U.S.-based chains? Check and check.

There's one hole that's been waiting to be filled at The Well, though (one last drop in the bucket, if you will), though; that of a lively entertainment venue a la Ballroom Bowl or The Rec Room — but that's soon to change.

From Concorde Entertainment Group, the people behind other hotspots in The Well like Lulu Bar and Bridgette Bar, among a slew of other Western Canada favourites, National is a spot for the kids at heart, blending immaculate bites and sips with the activities you'd expect from a so-called "entertainment bar."

Currently boasting four locations across Calgary, this will mark the first for the chain in Toronto, and it'll feature fourteen screens playing the sports game du jour, arcade games, bowling lanes and even a dance floor for when playing games just ain't cutting it, and it's time to cut a rug.

A supplement to their regular food and drink menu, the bar is also primed to host an "Out of Office" happy hour featuring half-price drinks, which will run from 2 to 5 p.m. every day of the week.

Equally appropriate for a casual night out with your crew or larger events, National, which boasts an 800-person capacity, will offer options for meetings, corporate events and team-building, to add a little more play to your work.

At long last, National's opening is just around the corner. The new entertainment bar will be hosting their grand opening at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21, complimented by free play on arcade games and bowling all weekend long.

National will be located on the Upper Ground level of The Well, across from Fix Coffee + Bikes.
