Earth Day 2007 in Toronto
Earth Day should be every day in Toronto, but with increased stress on our highways and roads, the air quality seems to get worse every year. Sunday is the official Earth Day and with Kyoto legislation and pending election, it just might be the most important one yet.
The forecast for tomorrow calls for sunny skies and a high of 23, so get outside and celebrate what your Mama Earth gave you. Here are some Earth Day highlights:

CityNews meteorologist Michael Kuss will host the opening ceremonies and singer-songwriter Emm Gryner will provide the musical entertainment. Activities include environment exhibits, trivia and EcoKids arts and crafts.
Streets Are For People: Starting at 1 p.m., there will be a rally from Metro Hall to the Eco-Fair location at on John St. (between Queen and Adelaide). The event runs from 2 p.m. and includes green lifestyle workshops, street games, street theatre and an eco-bazaar.
