ICE SALE June 16-17 ONLY!

I just received a call from the organizers that the former ICE store in Yorkville will be holding yet another sale at the Church of the Redeemer on the corner of Avenue and Bloor Street.

The sale will be on today until 8PM and tomorrow between 10AM-5PM.

Like TNT Blu and Over The Rainbow, ICE had a cult following. Located under the Renaissance hotel, it was a modest little store from the outside, but overcrowded with the latest trends from LA. The full line of St. Tropez Essentials bags, Priorities initial lounge wear, Marc Jacobs shoes, Mario Badescu skincare, and Betty & Veronica just to name a few.

At the end of summer 2004, ICE packed up and moved house to LA and merged into the West Coast emporium that is Kitson. If that name sounds familiar, it's probably because you've seen it in every celebrity and fashion magazine on the newstand. Anyday, you'll spy members of the young Hollywood "it" list rifling through the stacks and shelves and tables of goodies. Sad as I was to see it leave, the months-long ICE closing sale was spectacular. If there's one thing they know how to do (other than stock trends almost before they appear), it's hold a sale.

If you're at all a serious shopper, you need to go! Is it worth it? YES YES YES. Last time I scored Marc Jacobs sandals, Samantha Thavasa and rare L.A.M.B. bags, Religion jeans, Cory Lynn Calter slacks, Clean perfume, Bumble & Bumble hair spray and a ton of other items at 60-70% off (and sometimes more). Last time, there were boxes of $200 pants for $10, $100 perfume for $5, and $400 purses for $50 just to give you an idea.

Mostly women's clothing, but a selection of baby and men's clothing, acessories, and toys, too. GO NOW.
