Looking for swimwear that will give you an extra hop, skip and jump? Hundreds of people put a little hop into their step last night during the Oasis Playboy Fashion Show, celebrating the launch of Playboy's European Swimwear line in Canada. The event was held at This is London Social Club, a posh venue that screamed Playboy mansion all over it.

The big man, Hugh Hefner was not there, but Rachel Sterling (Playboy gal and actor next to Vin Diesel in A Man Apart) hosted the event in true bunny style. Some of the bikinis screamed cheesy and looked quite retro-inspired (think: 1980's). There was a fine line between sexy good and sexy bad. I didn't like the two-toned suits as much as the solids and the black ones were definitely sexy in a classic way. I appreciated the thought they put into the tankini suits. It wasn't the same boring lines over and over again.

The menswear collection was awesome. Board shorts (black and white or yellow and green) with Playboy written all over them; however, unless you are looking really closely you probably wouldn't know what it said. My favourite part of the guys collection, was the trucker hats - a must have for the beaches this summer.

Details were certainly not overlooked in this collection. The suits and clothes looked well made and had "Playboy" written on the tassels, buttons, zips, and logo in an eye-catching way. While I wasn't as keen on the women's swimwear line, the accessories and light-wear clothing introduced were fantastic. Cropped pants in denim, sport material and yoga looking pants (in black and white) with a tiny little bunny, usually in pink, made for a subtle yet sexy pant. My favourite piece of bunny attire was the denim skirt with the rusted looking Bunny on the back with the bright blue zips up each side.

All in all, it was a bunny of a good time. If you like flashy clothes, you may want to hit up the Reia Sample Sale this weekend for goods by Alexander McQueen, Gucci, Prada and Miss Sixty.
