Celebrate fall 2006 with Preloved

It's August now, we can't deny that the summer is coming to an end. Don't get me wrong, I love fall. It's just that thing after fall that bothers me. Preloved kicks off the season with their first ever fashion show. Czehoski's is the backdrop and attendees will see a collection that is inspired by fairy tales and English countryside. It wouldn't be a fashion show without an after party which will be held at the Preloved boutique just down the street at 613 Queen St West. Stop by and have a free beer provided by the good folks at Steamwhistle Brewery. Everything in the store will be 20% so that is another reason to head down.

Preloved started in 1995 by Julia Grieve, a former model. She hired designer Peter Friesen, which started the beginning of their long career together. They are an international success and can be found in the U.S., Honk Kong and the U.K. They have expanded in recent years to include three lines. Preloved is their classic line for women and men that combines vintage and new materials. Handcut is their line for men and women with each piece hand cut and assembled from 100% vintage clothing. Finally for women only, there is b loved which is constructed with all new material.
