Dewar does scandalous at FAT (with nip slips!)
The wardrobe malfunctions continued apace at FAT last week with Dewar's show, which featured a few different ta-tas spilling out of the scandalous pieces Cherry Dewar paraded down the catwalk.

I didn't plan on covering
's show originally, due to the utter atrocity of her online lookbook, but I ended up digging the collection's brash sexuality and bold design choices in person. Some favourites included the sleeveless leather trench, the aviator-inspired mustard-yellow jacket, the asymmetrical swimsuits, and the trousers with the strappy baskets on the side.
The construction and fit, however, was pretty bad: a lot of the garments gaped or puckered in the wrong places.
But I was still a fan, and am interested to see next year if her tailoring skills can catch up to her vision .

Over at the other end of the class spectrum was
, who showed a somber little collection of evening looks that contrasted sexiness and elegance. She paired, for instance, a floor-length tiered silk skirt with a see-through lace shirt, and made a skimpy bustier dress from a thick sensible wool.
It felt like eighties-era Madonna goes to a funeral, but in a good way.
Definitely a more mature design talent to watch.

rounded out the night. I really disliked the clothes (much too hippie-ish for my taste), but the performance aspect of the presentation -- which included "movement" and masks and all the models gathering on-stage by the end, en masse -- was certainly something out of the sartorial ordinary.
