Get ready for [FAT]
This year, the Alternative Arts and Fashion event, better known as [FAT] is taking to Liberty Village's Studio City at 1 Pardee Avenue starting tomorrow until Sunday. The event boasts contemporary design, music and performance - attend this week and no one will call you a philistine again.
Highlights include FAT's welcome of Project Catwalk winner and Central Saint Martins graduate Jasper Garvida - with him, he brings a dose of Art Deco and a collection of architectural pieces, fit for the Rachael in everyone.
Felicia Burke is bound to brighten the day with Grover blues and Elmo reds - lush jackets and fitted silhouettes to suit a variety of femme fatales.
Toronto's own Dianna Dinoble of Starkers Corsetry will add a touch of elegance and sex appeal with her cinched waist curve appeal.
Just in time for summer, it will be worth checking out the swimwear from One of Us, a brand that brings a little 'punk rock' flare to the oh-so-now nautical aesthetic.
In between the fashion frenzy, there will be DJ performances from Discrete and Adam Smith or catch homegrown melody makers Magneta Lane.
There will also be live fashion shoots, video screenings and live performances from Anna Smutny and more. Advance tickets for the event are $25 for a day pass and $70 for a full week (4-day pass).
You can pick them up from the following locations:
The Rage: 2 Kensington Ave. Kensington Market
Jazma Hair Inc: 8 St. Joseph St (Young & Wellesley)
