SLO Mittens

Toronto Gift Guide: SLO recycled sweater mittens

It's day number three of my quest to find some of the best gifts in Toronto. Today's pick: SLO recycled sweater mittens. You can't go wrong with mittens, unless you're buying for your sister who now lives in Costa Rica (no, I'm not jealous). My lucky-as-hell sibling aside, I pretty much want to buy a pair of these for everyone on my list.

Toronto designer Sarah Lynn Ottewell gives a second life to gently-loved sweaters by sewing them into the cutest mitts around. They're lined with super-soft fleece making them warm enough for Canadian winter chills. I'm already on my second pair (pictured here). Sorry, due to the recycled element, no two pairs are alike, meaning these ones are spoken for.
