Fashion's Night Out - New York's biggest and baddest shopping event - is finally among us, with its first in Toronto happening tomorrow night (September 6). The city's best salons, boutiques, and shopping centres will be open much past their usual hours - many of them offering special promotions, raffles, giveaways, and the crowd favourite: complimentary drinks and snacks.

But alas, with all these fabulous, fun, fashion festivities going on across the city, it's nearly impossible to hit them all up in one night. The past year's Vintage's Night Out and West End Riches highlighted a less extensive list of participating retailers, and I only managed to visit half of them. It just doesn't work.

Misery of not being able to teleport or be in two (rather, dozens of) places at once aside, I extend to you the next best thing: a guide of the (anticipated) best happenings to attend during Toronto's first ever Fashion's Night Out. AIME
Where: Aime, 198A Davenport Road #200
When: 6pm to 11pm
Why: To support new, home-grown local boutiques! Toronto's own Aime by Monica Mei is opening its first brick-and-mortar store, no doubt stocking its own label, with the launch party scheduled for Fashion's Night Out. Get dibs on the latest collection while dancing to Tunezy on the back patio, enjoying Chateau des Charmes wine, and tasting local hors d'oeuvres by Elizabeth Hill Catering. AVEDA
Where: All Aveda locations: 269 Queen Street West; 155 Cumberland Street; Eaton Centre (220 Yonge Street); 3401 Dufferin Street
When: 6pm to 11 pm
Why: Everyone needs to glam up before a night on the town, so Aveda is inviting guests to perform their prep rituals with them. Sample their brand new fall make up collection, have a complimentary fringe trim, and enjoy refreshments and giveaways all night long. Plus, the Cumberland location (155 Cumberland St) is turning the street into a runway with the hottest looks from New York fashion week.

COMRAGS
Where: Comrags, 812 Dundas Street West
When: 8:30pm to 11pm
Why: Plaid Magazine's Odessa Paloma Parker will be there to give her expert style tips over snacks and the boutique's new fall collection. She'll also be bringing in a few local accessory brands to feast your eyes upon, including pieces by Biko and Vanessa Maltese.

FUZZ WAX BAR
Where: Fuzz Wax Bar, 701 Queen Street West
When: 6pm to 11pm
The beauty bar recognized for its mad waxing skills is partnering with Stella & Dot to host a trunk show featuring the latter's intricate statement jewellery, and a raffle to win the product! Peruse beauty lines like I Love My Muff, PFB Vanish, and Merben Brushes while sipping champagne - and receive a free eyebrow wax with the purchase of any retail item!

THE BAZAAR BY RAC
Where: Burroughes Building, 639 Queen Street West, sixth floor
When: 6pm to 11pm
Why: The ever-popular Bazaar by RAC pop-up marketplace is back and ready for Fashion's Night Out action. Spend a few hours (trust me, you'll need all of it!) shopping for all your fashion needs with over 20 of Toronto's own retailers, including Gotstyle, Chloe Comme Parris, and 69 Vintage - all while munching on complimentary PopChips, sipping on various cocktails (or Vitamin Water, if you'd rather), and shimmying to the tunes of DJs Famous Players. FRED PERRY AND OLIVER SPENCER
Where: Fred Perry, 964 Queen Street West; Oliver Spencer, 962 Queen Street West
When: 6pm to 11pm
Why: The Standard Apparel super-duo will be launching their fall collections, offering a special discount of 15% off on their new digs. The remainder of their spring collections will be further reduced up to 70% off. Complimentary beverages and appetizers by Poutini's House of Poutine will be offered on top of the chance to win a $250 shopping spree. It's a no brainer.

THE EATON CENTRE
Where: The Toronto Eaton Centre, 220 Yonge Street
When: 6pm to 11pm
Why: It's huge. And it's got pretty much all your bases covered. And they'll be hosting a public fashion show featuring signature looks from Stuart Weitzman, Juicy Couture, and GAP at 7:30 pm in the Centre Court. If that isn't convincing enough, find the extended list of participating stores here.

YORKDALE
Where: Yorkdale Shopping Centre, 1 Yorkdale Road
When: 6pm to 11pm
Why: It's for those of you unwilling to make the trek to the downtown core for most of the night's events. It'll be open late to host beauty discussions and Cityline's Lynn Spence presenting the top 20 trends for fall in the centre court. Many of the mall's coveted retailers will be offering special promotions for the duration of the evening.

THE SPOT ON QUEEN
Where: The Spot on Queen, 627 Queen St W
When: 6pm to 11pm
Why: They'll be screening classic fashion films Wild Orchid, Tonight or Never, The Greeks had a Word for Them, Casablanca, and Un Homme et une Femme. While rolling, guests will have a chance to shop new collections by Fredrick Prince Jewellery, Scarf Party, Calisto Designs, Luigi Sardo's new mens footwear, and more. Plenty of sweets and good vibes are promised all night long.

HOMEGROWN BOUTIQUE
Where: Homegrown Boutique, 12 Cumberland Street
When: 6pm to 11pm
Why: Because, like The Spot on Queen, they're also celebrating fashion films. And there's no better way to enjoy them than with complimentary popcorn, and a shopping experience featuring designer collections by incredibly talented locals Arti Gogna, Dagg & Stacey, Zoran Dobric, and Woudenberg.

BENCH
Where: Bench at 3401 Dufferin Street
When: 6pm to 11pm
Why: Aside from the promotion - a complimentary gift with any purchase over $50 - the endearing cast members of MTV's 1 Girl, 5 Gays will be present to offer style advice.
