ttc bag

This TTC map is actually a thousand dollar handbag

Jimmy Choo has just opened its first-ever Toronto store in Yorkdale as part of the shopping centre's 300,000 square foot expansion. To celebrate, the brand, made synonymous with turn-of-the-millennium luxury by one Carrie Bradshaw, has put its own spin on that most upscale and exclusive of Toronto icons. Of course, I'm talking about the TTC.

A revamped Toronto subway map - with all of the station names swapped for different models of Choo shoes and bags - graces the side of the limited-edition bag, which is now available exclusively at the new store for a very Jimmy Choo-like $1095. Staff at the Choo store report that of the limited run of 20, 12 bags are currently left. Who snagged one of these crazy things? (Beckermans, was that you?) Whimsical dressers of Toronto, I implore you: Please show up to Fashion Week this fall with an Anu Raina subway dress, this bag, and a Parkdale hat. You will be a hero.
