Toronto is getting a flower market every month all summer long
The beloved Toronto Flower Market is set to make its return just in time for Mother's Day this Spring. Founded in May 2013, the market is back with fresh offerings of a variety of flowers from May 13.
With over 40 vendors, visiting this market is a great way to spend a weekend afternoon picking out flowers for your loved ones.
Aria Blooms, Bageecha Harvest, Bloom Plus are some of the vendors that will offer their flowers on sale this year.
Natasa Kajganic, the founder of Toronto Flower Market, wanted to recreate the vibrance of a famous flower market in London which led to the inception of this venture in Toronto.
Toronto Flower Market is now a Spring staple, with everyone awaiting its fresh blooms every year.
Kajganic hopes to "develop stories and engagements with flowers that educate consumers about seasonality," through the market, according to the company's website.
The market will run once a month starting May till October 7 at 1001 Queen St West. Here are the upcoming dates for the market:
Operating hours are from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
